My so-called father
Gah! I’m really annoyed with my dad. I think he goes out of his way to make me miserable. 
But I don’t want to talk about it so let’s just say I’d have a better Christmas if I weren’t going to spend it in our house. I wish my family wasn’t so dysfunctional.
I’m longing to tell my mom about my shujin. I still can’t. An hour ago, he called and my uncle (he came over to fix some stuff in our house) answered the phone. I was having dinner with my parents and my sister at that time so my uncle just told me that he called. My mom heard his name (she kind of knows about him) and said, “Who?” in a not so pleasant way. So the gist of this is that unless I want my mom and I to be in good terms with other, I should keep my mouth shut about this. Ugh. It’s killing me! 
It’s really killing me! (I’m reminiscing about Daddy Day Care. If you’ve seen it, you’ll know what I mean.) And with the issue about my best friend and my cousin being a couple, it’s become increasingly difficult to broach this subject with my mom, or any of my other family members for that matter.
Pia has influenced me tremendously. I’m starting to become a very big fan of L’arc~en~Ciel. If you’ve watched Rurouni Kenshin [Samurai X], you’ve probably heard the song 4th Avenue Cafe. They’re the Japanese rock band who sang that song. They make great rock music. I suggest you go and buy a copy of their album or download some of their songs off Kazaa.
Beth, I didn’t know that some people couldn’t read the text in my site. Maybe it has something to do with the browser you’re using. My sites are properly viewed using Internet Explorer 6 and a 1024×768 screen resolution.

I feel the same way about my mom. It’s like she goes out of her way to ruin my life. I’m dreading Christmas for that reason, too. Otherwise it’s my favorite holiday.

Hey am kinda feeling the same way too. As a matter of fact, my mom’s sooooo strict that she would rather decide for me in all aspect (sheesh..am too old enough for my self huh!) However, i know she’s just wants to protect me especially that i her one and only child but sometimes couldnt help myslef but to become very irritated. Are you chinese? How about your shinjun?

i’m beginning to have the feeling i know you personally…but not really. i just know a fatima who’s a college freshman too but i’m not sure where she’s studying.
eh maybe it’s just a coincidence?? anyway families can get on each other’s nerves a lot, that’s just the way it goes i guess. hope it all gets better soon, don’t let it ruin your holidays ok?
