[Midheaven] I messed up my domain. :thunder: I upgraded the Gallery and the Guestbook via Fantastico and they both went wacko. I’ve lost all the pictures (they’re backed up, don’t worry) and all the guestbook entries (they’re backed up too but I don’t know how to untar the file so I just decided to reinstall the guestbook – bye-bye entries! *sigh…). I haven’t reinstalled the Gallery because I’m still trying to decide what to do with it. That project will have to be put on hold. I might work on it again when I get a decent digital camera. Oh, and since the Gallery is down, the freebies at Moonlight Reverie is also down. Bear with me. I’ll fix this eventually. Good thing I didn’t try to upgrade my WordPress installation. I was afraid to lose my entries. :stressed:

My best guy friend, Niñ has opened a new site: Ninyo.tk. Please visit him when you have the time! ^_^

[Life] I still don’t know what to do. Maybe I’ll take the next three months off and travel (if I have the money). Or I could start studying – maybe some modular courses (probably Web Studio 1-3) at Informatics. I dunno. But I definitely have to get my act together by January of next year (2007). I don’t want to turn into a bum.

[Love] The story of my life: ♪ Stars by Switchfoot ♪.

[Books] About the Love Stories books, I’m getting 19 super editions with them so that’s a total of 61 books. Yay! :giggly: That means my sister and I can sell our old copies. And I need to clear out my shelves to make room for the new ones. If you want to help us out, please buy some of our books HERE if you live in the Philippines. I’m selling novels written by Robert Jordan, Terry Goodkind, Terry Brooks, Chick Lit novels, etc. I also have a few magazines, CDs, posters, and stickers. Plus, you could always donate. ;)

[Television] I’ve been watching Grey’s Anatomy. I have a new crush. LOL. :embarrassed: Dr. Derek Shepherd. hehe. I was really hoping that he and Meredith would end up together. I wish Addison was out of the picture. Okay, I think it’s great that Derek is trying to work things out with his wife but..argh. He and Meredith belong together! :discontent: But then, it’s only a TV show. I shouldn’t get worked up about it. haha!

[Shoutouts] Chau, thank you, hun! I was afraid that I wouldn’t make the Dean’s List again because I haven’t exerted much effort to maintain my grades. My current GPA is 3.1, just enough to get me on the Second Honors List. I didn’t even ask any of my professors to reconsider my grades, unlike many of my classmates. That’s just not how I am. I would ask for reconsideration only if I know that I truly deserved a higher grade and not just because I needed to get into some list. Pfft! Ate Ems, I’m so glad to be helping you with Pinoy Tambayan. I posted about it on Friendster and Multiply and one of my friends, Ched has joined. Yay! I hope we’ll hit the 10-member mark soon! About making the Dean’s List, no, I’ve only been on there for my last two terms. I had trouble with one course every single term so I never made it to the List until the other term. So much for my track record! I’ve been an honor student since forever… Oh well. I really should’ve taken MMA. I would’ve worked harder if I had taken it the first place. I just know it. About the free hosting, would it be okay to ask for a subdomain instead? My friends and I don’t have the money to pay for a domain yet. :( Sarah, sure, you can have the mp3 embedded in your site. ^_^ BTW, I haven’t had the chance to start on the articles but I’ll get to it as soon as I can. Gaaaaah..that reminds me… I still owe you an email. Or maybe I’ll just post about it? You have the password anyway. ;) I hope that’d be okay… Marine, oh hun… I’m here if you need to talk, m’kay? Please don’t hesitate to email me. I’ll do my best to reply and help. *hugs* I love you, sweetie!

[College] The term is officially over and I made the Dean’s List again! ^_^ And we got a 3.5 on our thesis (one of the highest in our class)! Yay! :bouncy:

[Books] Yesterday, I realized that I accidentally left 3 of the books that I bought at the book fair.. :( They only cost me PHP 99.00 but one of the books was The Magician’s Nephew (Book 6 of The Chronicles of Narnia by C. S. Lewis, 1st in the internal chronology) :moody: – I was going to give it to my goddaughter for her birthday (which is today). I got her The Voyage of the Dawn Treader (Book 3, 5th chronologically) instead – I bought it from Powerbooks-Shangri-La. I think one of the other books was Soul of the Fire (Sword of Truth, Book 5) by Terry Goodkind. I have the hardcover edition so it doesn’t really matter but I was hoping to resell it. I can’t remember the third book but I’m pretty sure it was a fantasy, maybe a Raymond E. Feist novel.

Do any of you remember the Love Stories series from Bantam Books? You’ve probably read one or two before. ;) My sister used to collect them and I eventually started reading them. Well, we’ve lost most of our collection to friends who never remembered to return them. I found a listing on eBay for Books 1-42 for only PHP 1,500.00 and my sister and I have decided to buy it. :) We can always just resell it. hehe. Some of you might be shocked because we’re not the type to give away or sell our books but we usually only sell those that we have multiple copies of. In my case, I’ve also started selling the books that didn’t impress me much or those that I couldn’t be bothered to read. I need the shelf space. The bookcase in my room which houses my favorite books is about to burst. I really should get a new one.

[Life + Friends] I still don’t know what I’m going to do. I want to start working because I need to save up but I don’t think I’m ready. And I’m not sure I want to stay in the field of Psychology. :worried: I’ll probably take some modular courses (web design) or take up Multimedia Arts. Anyway, I have a meeting with a client sometime this coming week. Let’s see how that goes..and start from there.

My batchmates and I went to..I’m not really sure if it was to celebrate but..anyway, we (Irene, Louie, Jenny, Ishbelle, John, Kim, Kimy, Mark, Nikki, Joseph, Garie, and I) went to Prov – videoke session! – John and I sang a few songs, including ♪ Suteki da neLOL!

I went home with Jenny, Ishbelle, Mark, John, and Joseph but the LRT was at code yellow (I think) and stopped operations so we had to take a jeep to the Edsa-MRT station (John got off the jeep before us because he didn’t have to take the MRT). Beh picked me up at Shang. It was really sweet of her. She and Niñ have been worrying about me a lot lately. Thanks for looking out for me, you two!

Hmmn… Some of my friends are planning a trip to Pagudpud. I sort of want to go with them. I hope my mom will let me..if I decide to go.

[Love] :music: Never Be The Same by Christopher Cross

It was good for me
It was good for you
Now nothing either of us can say or do
Can change the way you feel tonight
Sometimes love just slips out of sight

Just one thing before you go
Just one thing that you’ve got to know
No one will ever touch me that way
The way that you did that very first day

And I’ll
Never be the same without you here
I’ll live alone
Hide myself behind my tears
And I’ll
Never be the same without your love
I’ll live alone
Try so hard to rise above

The years go by
There’s always someone new
To try and help me forget about you
Time and again it does me no good
Love never feels the way that it should

I loved you then I guess I’ll love you forever
And even though I know we could never stay together
I think about how it could have been
If we could just start all over again

It was good for me
It was good for you
Now nothing either of us can say or do
Can change the way you feel today
Sometimes love just slips away

*sigh…

[Shoutouts] Chau, I’m sorry I haven’t been able to blog about what’s been going on..I’ll post about it when I organize my thoughts. ;) Ninyo, hehe…yep, music definitely helps. Rachel, lol. I always associate Alan Rickman with Snape now, too! hehe. Must be because of Spellbinding. *sigh… I still miss running that TCG sometimes. Sarah, thank you! And yes, I’m terrified about graduating. LOL. The book fair was fun! I wish you could’ve been there, too… :( I looked at your reading list before and I have some of them on my list, too. I love reading! I spent a lot of time in college wishing I had more time to read and now that I do..waaaaah, I don’t know where to start! I have so many books that I’ve yet to read. Oh Sarah..once again, you do NOT look awful in those pictures! You’re beautiful, hun! I wish you could see what we see… *huggles* And yes, we will meet someday! And even if we don’t get to meet on our birthdays, we can still celebrate. ;) Boris, aww..the book fair was great (although I liked the NBS warehouse sale better – the books were much, much cheaper). Oh, the book I was referring to is not related to the anime. The Alchemist was written by Paulo Coelho – his other books are Veronika Decides to Die, By the River Piedra I Sat Down and Wept, Eleven Minutes, etc. BTW, you can create an account on eBay Philippines to buy and/or sell all sorts of items. You can register HERE. You don’t need a credit card but I think you need to be at least 18. ^_^ Just email me or comment here if you need any help.
