When will I see you again?

Haha… I just realized that my blog entry titles are sometimes a bit off. I guess that’s because I love randomness..and when a certain phrase or idea seeps into my mind, it’s usually what I end up blogging about - sometimes it’s just not noticeable.
Anyway, I’ve been working on the Midheaven Gallery. I’m almost finished - only two more categories (about fifteen or so albums) to upload.
Feel free to visit and leave comments on any of my pictures! Oh, and more FL updates: Kura/eL has decided to let me adopt The Wolves in the Walls Fanlisting! Yay!
I’ll probably have it up in about two days. I just need to reorganize some of my sites then I’ll work on it right away. Oh, and I’ve put up the new guestbook! Please sign it if you have the time.
I’d really appreciate it!

I was returning comments earlier and when I got to Theresa’s blog, it reminded me of something and I left this comment on her entry:
Hmmn… yes, Einstein is right. It seems that while technology becomes more and more advanced (and complicated), humans are gradually losing their humanity.
I remember something that my uncle (he’s a Science HS teacher) and I used to talk about… We think that eventually, humans will go back to primitivity.
I guess it’s sort of akin to being on top..there’s nowhere to go but down. As technology becomes more and more advanced, it will eventually reach a point where there’s nothing left to improve. That’s where the decline will begin. Humans will succumb to stagnance.

I’m feeling a bit depressed. My grandfather is going to have surgery today..for cancer removal.
I’ve been planning to visit them (my grandparents) in Washington but it keeps getting postponed. I had a dream the other day that I didn’t get to..aaaargh! I don’t even want to think about it. I miss him so much… I don’t know what I’d do if I don’t get to see him before…but he told me that he’d wait for me. We haven’t seen each other for over ten years!

My mom is encouraging me to play computer games.
My grandmother told her about some research findings that playing video games actually help with eye problems. Since I have high myopia (basically that means I’m nearsighted; my eyes have faulty refractive ability - it gets worse every year), they believe it might help. Hmmn… Now I really want to start playing MMORPGs again! I just wish my internet connection didn’t always go haywire. *sigh… I miss playing.

My siblings and I watched Babel the other day. It just hit me how some people might not get Babel’s story/meaning. Have any of you seen it yet? Hmmn… I can’t help admiring Brad Pitt. I have to admit, I never really liked him before. I started liking him when I saw Legends of the Fall for the first time. Then came Meet Joe Black. It’s one of my most favorite movies ever. I just really admire how he has improved over the course of his movies…

Today we saw Curse of the Golden Flower.
It’s the most expensive Chinese film to date. A definite must-see! It’s evident where the US$45,000,000 budget went. You not only get to experience China’s rich culture, you also get to see extremely talented actors (I prefer Gong Li over Zhang Ziyi). Plus, the movie’s theme song “Chrysanthemum Terrace” was recorded by Jay Chou.

It’s the end of another entry… hehe. But don’t worry, I won’t be disappearing anytime soon.
Thanks for reading my entry! *hugs*

Hehe about your blog titles… I don’t even have titles for mine’s… LOL.
Aww! I hope your grandfather’s ok!!

It’s ok with having off and random titles…at least you have nice titles to get people interested! Lol, mine are always so bland.
I agree with the technology thing…I just hope that I’m not here when the human race starts to fall backwards. =P
I’m sorry to hear about your grandfather going into surgery. I hope that he will be ok and wish him good health and everything. I remember when my grandfather when into surgery to remove three tumors from his back (they were harming his other organs) and it worried me too, so I know how you feel. Please try to stay strong for him. =)
Ah, Curse of the Golden Flower, I want to see that as well as Huo Yuan Jia. Jay Chou is such a talented singer…I love how his lyrics have such a deeper meaning all the time, unlike most other pop singers of today.

I hope everything went well with your granddad’s surgery. It’s very sad though, here in New Zealand 2 out of 3 people will have cancer at some point in their lives.
I hope all goes well.
Hugs.

Hey! I like the site and layout!
Seems like you’ve been busy with the online world. I like all of the sites!
Meet Joe Black is one awesome movie!

The progression of humans advancement is in the eye of the beholder. I mean we may be on top right now, but we are hurting our world so much, being so self centered as a race that if we all took a step back and though _gee, I could do without my SUV full of McDonalds over packaged unhealthful food…_ then perhaps we would returning to a simpler life, but would that be so bad?
All those movies sound fun, yet I believe none of them are out here.

I like using random blog titles too
even though lately I haven’t been, but I like it when it makes people stop and go “huh?”
Ten years is a long time to go without seeing your grands, you should really try to go see them, I’m sure they’d love to see you too. Hope your grandfather is ok.

I’m all for a bit of randomness! I like to be creative with my titles, by using puns and everything, but it’s hard sometimes.
Sorry to hear about your grandfather going into surgery. I hope everything goes well.
Your uncle’s theory is quite interesting. It reminds me of that movie The Time Machine. I think they revert back to the primitive ages too. I don’t really remember a lot about the movie though.
I haven’t seen Curse of the Golden Flower but I really like Gong Li too. I think she’s beautiful, and I loved her in Memoirs of a Geisha.

hmmm i havent seen that movie yet and i would love to!! Do you speak and understand the Chinese Language?
18 February 2007, Sunday at 3:51:34 am
I hope your grandfather will be alright and that you get to visit your grandparents soon!!
I like watching movies and I love music so I might just check out the movie you mentioned. Some people don’t like watching movies when it’s not spoken in English, I don’t mind, that’s why they invented subtitles

aww… i hope your grandfather will be ok! Hopefully you’ll get to visit your grandparents soon.
I play World of Warcraft. It’s a pretty fun MMORPG.
18 February 2007, Sunday at 4:56:49 pm
Wow, playing MMORPG games can help your eyesight? You also have myopia? I also have myopia. Well, if that’s true then, I’d better start playing as well. Thanks for the tip.
:)

I was planning to watch that movie with my friend… but we didn’t get to catch up with it at the theaters…:( Too bad… I wanted to see how Jay Chou’s acting had improved since his movie Initial D. And yea, isn’t his song pretty deep? ^___^ I’m an avid fan of his ballads!! Do you like listening to Chinese songs as well? :D
I hope your grandpa gets through his operation great. May God bless him.

Ooh yay for the gallery, picture time ;D!
Yah, it sucks to know that.. and I think your grandfather may be right.. sigh. We are getting more useless.. we always rely esp. on technology now-a-days, that’s why we are so lazy people! I swear technology is going to override us, sheesh! Ooh, its funny how your mother said you should play video games.. usually they will tell you not to because you have to concentrate on your studies..but I guess its for your own good, I hope it actually works.. improving your eyesight! Love the curse of the golden flower, it was great.. however, I didn’t really get the end, do you?? She threw the poison away..does that mean she’s going to survive without living in the palace? confused—
