So… we did go on a trip yesterday! All my maternal relatives were in attendance; except for two of my cousins and their families, my brother, and the ones living abroad.
We went to the Picnic Grove in Tagaytay and had a wonderful picnic! The kids were all so happy to be there. It was the nicest time I had in quite a while; a lovely pre-New Year party!
I’m the one wearing the white Pebbles shirt.

Updates — I finished the new layout for the collective but it might take longer to “reopen” the site because I ran into some trouble with the coding. I can’t get it to look the way I want it to. Oh well… I’m going to redo the layout.
I had a pretty good day. I finally found the jacket I wanted – my mom bought it for me. Anyway, it was so funny. I didn’t really want to go out today because I wanted to continue working on my sites… I dragged myself off to shower and get dressed because I wanted to enroll today (I wanted to stay away from school until the last possible minute; i.e. the start of classes which would be on the 7th – but it turned out that the school is closed until the 2nd of January. argh! ). I must have changed clothes at least four times! I wanted to wear the purple tunic my mom gave me for Christmas (yes, my mom loves to buy me clothes because back in high school, I absolutely hated going shopping) but I eventually settled on a plain white top. And it turned out to be a good thing that I decided against the purple shirt! When we went off to to buy a gift for the wedding my parents are going to attend tomorrow, I saw a girl wearing exactly the same shirt! hahaha!
Edit, 5:31:32 pm — This theme is temporary. I will figure out how to make a better theme than the last one (Letters) I made.
I remembered a conversation I had with my brother while we were on our way to our uncle’s house last Sunday… I was incredibly annoyed with that day and he told me that I should be nicer to her. The poor girl doesn’t get enough attention at home and now she’s a real motormouth. I understand that but she just doesn’t know when to quit. I love her very much – I’ve known her since she was a baby (I think out of all her godmothers, I’m the one she’s closest to) – but sometimes, I just really need peace and quiet.
