So… we did go on a trip yesterday! All my maternal relatives were in attendance; except for two of my cousins and their families, my brother, and the ones living abroad.
We went to the Picnic Grove in Tagaytay and had a wonderful picnic! The kids were all so happy to be there. It was the nicest time I had in quite a while; a lovely pre-New Year party!
I’m the one wearing the white Pebbles shirt.

I’ve really missed my cousins (one of my uncle’s children). I haven’t seen them in two years because my mom and their dad had a fight. They’re all so grown-up now! I’m so glad my mom and my uncle finally made up. I have to admit that for all his shortcomings, I really did miss him.
After we ate lunch, the kids flew a kite. It was so funny. wanted to try it so my uncle handed her the kite spool. Then she said, “let go!” and she really did let go of the spool!
She thought you were supposed to let go of the spool so the kite would fly. Good thing my sister was right beside her and caught the spool.
We all packed up then went to SM Mall of Asia. We just walked around for a bit because some of us have never been there (I’ve only been to twice before) and went our separate ways.
Anyway, it’s New Year’s Eve! I have to clean up the house and maybe watch a movie… Yesterday was fun BUT tiring. We got home around 6pm and I fell asleep around 8pm. My sister tried to wake me because I told her I wanted to get my new layout up after she was done uploading our pics to her Friendster profile but told me I wouldn’t even blink. haha.
Some of our relatives might celebrate the New Year here. *crosses fingers* We ordered a lot of food from Amber Golden Plate Restaurant. I guess we all get tired of our own cooking every now and then. Besides, I love ‘s spaghetti! Yummy!
I wish you all a wonderful 2008! ^_^
In case you’re wondering why this entry is entitled “Four and twenty-four,” it’s because there were twenty-four of us on the trip and we traveled in four cars.

Wow looks like you have a lot of fun. The pictures shows everything hehe… That’s funny about the kite flying. Well I just stay home for my new year eve, nothing much special. Anyway hope you have a great new year and a brand new 2008!
Wow, there were twenty four of you!? Lol, that must have been so fuuun!
I super love big family occasions but it’s been really hard to have them in my family because of a bunch of family issues. We did manage to have a big celebration for christmas this year, but it was really short and everyone was so awkward with each other. Iono if that was a bad or good thing.
Eee, it’s so funny seeing your cousins after a long time! I keep thinking my cousins are still in kindergarten and 7th grade and stuff even though some of them are in high school already and almost ready to go to college.
Hope your cousins do get to stay and celebrate new years with you! Have a good time celebrating either way! =]
Aww! That’s nice that you got to go on the trip!
Hehe, nice pictures, btw! =)
LOL, I only flew a kite once in my life, and it got stuck on something… LOL…
Anyways, have a great New Year’s Eve!
Great pictures, looks like you had fun!
Happy New Year! *hugs*
