Perhaps that time has not come yet when our, Gods would listen to the beats in our hearts, peace and happiness spread their glow, perhaps we would have to force Mother Time?.

It’s 2008! Happy New Year!!!

My relatives weren’t able to come last night for New Year’s Eve. They said they’ll come by later. We have a LOT of food left. And I made ice cream (cookies and cream)! They’ve been after me to make some for two years now. haha! I always end up making refrigerated peach cake instead - they love that too. I made one and a half trays.

I was too lazy to get my camera so no pictures of the fireworks. And we decided not to buy anything - we just watched our neighbors light theirs up. Besides, my brother Karl and my cousin Yeye are too scared to set up fireworks/firecrackers. It only lasted for about an hour or two anyway. I couldn’t stand the smoke - it made my eyes water so I wore my protective goggles (the ones from my LASIK surgery). hehe. I looked really odd. Some of our neighbors stared at me but I didn’t care! At least my eyes weren’t red.

I hope you all had a great New Year’s Eve!

Did you make any New Year’s resolutions? I didn’t. haha. It doesn’t work for me. I just end up not accomplishing any of it.

Anyway…

I hate smoke, so I think the goggles were a good idea. Who cares if you looked silly, haha. Think of all those raver kids who wear goggles as a fashion statement, lol!

Actually… it’s good that we shouldn’t rely on New Years Resolutions Peter had a resolution as well but he didn’t do it hehe. Are you ready sis for the new move of the Holy Spirit this 2008? hehe ^^ It’s gonna be a blessed 2008!

Oh god, I hate the smoke too. My poor eyes start to water like half an hour in. Sadly I love fireworks so I’ll have to live with this curse.

Ya I don’t do those new year resolutions either, they never stick.

I never make resolutions…they never stick, lol. I just always try to improve myself every year, so I guess that could kinda be considered a resolution?

Your fireworks lasted for an hour or two? That’s a really long time! My b/f set some off. They probably lasted about 5-10 mins at max.

I don’t make New Years Resolutions either. I mean, why lie to yourself that you’re going to do all these things when you know that in reality you’re not going to lol.

And I AM going to have a great 2008. I can feel it. It’s going to be a great year.

Cookies and cream ice-cream. YU-MMY! :D That’s one of my all-time favourite ice-cream flavours. I should like, learn to do it from you or something, LOL.

Haha, I think it’s cute that you wore goggles. But hey, anything to protect your eyes from that nasty smoke! :D

I’m still undecided on my New Year resolution, but even if I am, like you, I can hardly have anything accomplished, LOL. Well anyway, Happy 2008 to you!
