Let the light pierce through the darkness Close all old accounts, turn a new leaf Re-learn that old lesson of friendship Kill nor be killed, settle for lessening Amidst us of this fossilized hatred

glimpses of life… silence and chaos; laughter and tears…
Perhaps that time has not come yet when our, Gods would listen to the beats in our hearts, peace and happiness spread their glow, perhaps we would have to force Mother Time?.
2008 Challenges
I’ve decided to do two challenges this 2008.
If you want to join, just leave a comment on my latest blog post or email me.
I’ve been running scans on my laptop for the past two days now. Because I’ve spent all day just waiting for the scans to finish, I was able to write a background story for the new original fiction I’m planning to write and illustrate.
I got inspired again after reading Sabriel (The Old Kingdom, Book 1) by Garth Nix.
I first came across Garth Nix when I read Endings in the short story collection, Gothic! which I really picked up because one of Neil Gaiman’s stories was part of the collection.
Unfortunately, I don’t have the other books in The Old Kingdom series but I do have the first three books in The Keys to the Kingdom. I’m going to start reading Mister Monday tonight.
I actually came across an omnibus of The Seventh Tower series two years ago but I didn’t have any money with me at the time. I’m still frustrated about that.
It’s so hard to find his books here.
I can’t wait to see Sweeney Todd! argh! And I really, really want to see Ten Inch Hero. The official trailer is finally out. Jensen Ackles…
*sigh…
If you’re a fan, please visit the official site and spread the word so we can get it on DVD! (Oh, and Danneel Harris is part of the cast. She was one of my favorite actors in One Tree Hill.)
That’s it for now! I’m really tired…
I think I’ll go and get some sleep.

Ooo, oo, I decided to do exactly the same challenges a few days ago!!
I really want to see Sweeney Todd as well… my brother was going to take me out to see it last night - then we found out it’s not out yet!
Sorry for two comments in a row, I just quickly made two pages for the challenges, hopefully I’ll make a proper website at some point!

*hugs*
hhmm. im in for the 100film challenge. as for the other challenge, eerr, i dont think i have time for that. i dont even have time to sleep, with work and school and all. sigh. but i do have time for a movie. haha.
Hehe, good luck with your challenges!
Wow, those two challenges sound like fun. Lol, I’d so try to do something like that if I had the time to…but knowing me, the only time I’d have to do any hardcore movie watching or book reading would have to be done over the summer. =[ And cramming 100 of any activity into a short summer would be pretty insane…but I don’t know, I might just do that later on down the road. I’ll see how I do in school this semester, and see if I deserve it first.
But ahh! Sweeney Todd! I want to watch that sooo bad. A bunch of the people on my floor watched the play for it and it got me interested. ^^ Besides, Johnny Depp! Hehe.
hii! sure, I would love for you to add me, I’ll add you to my list when I next update
I really should start reading more… I havent read a single book in months… But its good you’re doing those challenges
sign me up for the 100 books challenge! how is it done exacty? I know you keep list but do I make my own page or what?! lol I know that sound stupid!
good luck with those challenges. i hope that by the end of the year, you’re able to accomplish them.
good luck with the 100 books. i think this one is pretty hard.

I’m thinking about entering the 100 movie challenge although I don’t think I’ll have time
.I’m a really slow book reader so I hardly ever finish a book.
I want to see Sweeney Todd too.It still hasn’t come out here yet!
I’m off to watch the Ten Inch Hero trailer.
Hiya, hun! Just wanted to send along some belated holiday greetings!
Wow. I’d take you up on the book challenge if it weren’t for all the history books I’m going to have to read this semester!
oh, that sounds like fun, even if I don’t read 100 books (wow, uh let’s bust out the children’s books!
) count me in, my 100 book page is http://beaut-tree.com/?page_id=43
Sweeny Todd, well I had no idea what it was about when I went to see it, but it was so hilarious! and a little disturbing…
Happy New Year!
Happy new years!! Belated anyhow, but glad that you are inspired!! Inspiration is a great thing!! I am looking for my inspiration again… I love writing novels, you’re talented!
Is Sweeney Todd a musical? I know it’s an adaptation of a musical, but wasn’t sure if the film is like that also. I HATE musicals, lol. Minus like… Sound Of Music. Whether the movie is good or bad, it will still be a blockbuster. With Johnny Depp in it and Tim Burton making it… how could it flop?
The film challenge is one I think I can do
I’ve already watched around 20 so far this year. I’ll start keeping track of what I watch. Lifetime movies do count don’t they? I’m addicted!
Do the movies have to be ones that you’ve never watched before? Hm.
The 100 books one is pretty tough. Lol.
Love your emoticons!
Good luck on the challenges! I can’t join ’cause my target for books is just to read 50 books (100 is way too hard for me :tired:). For films, I’m still 15, so my viewing options are, well, limited
I’ve heard of Garth Nix! I saw some of his books but I’m not interested~ Are the books good?
Good luck with those challenges! I think I may try to blog more, write in my journal a lot more and take more photos.
I can’t wait to see Sweeney Todd as well! My friends had a movie night out to see it and didn’t give me enough notice.
I don’t think I would be able to do the 100 book challenge, I don’t have time with school and all, way too much school books to read, lol

But the 100 movies should be easy I think, I’ve seen five movies already this year, lol
Ooh! Sounds nice..but I doubt I have the time :(..goodluck! Tell us how good the books are so that I can read it in the future
waah, sweeny todd of course and haha i think i have to watch that movie of ackles. para naman at least makapag usap tayo about him.
and haha, i saw your midheaven collective. tyaga a! and since i don’t have twitter on this beta mozilla, i have to remind you i won’t be able to receive your twitter mails.
books na naman?!
i can’t do the 100 book challenge. puhahaha~
Ooo I read most of Garth Nix’s books, awesomeness.
Wow, since you’re doing the 100 books challenge, the “28 Books in 2008″ I have issued on my blog should be no problem. I’d love it if you gave that a try as well!
Good luck.
Good luck on the challenges. I’d join but I totally failed at a similar challenge last year (it was only TWELVE books and I managed to scratch off like three of them… how sad!) so I think I’ll refrain. I might do the same challenge I did last year, though, only actually attempt it instead of … you know, not.
I got my list up now
http://lillium.net/me/moviechallange.php
I think I’m up to 8 already
Ooh I love Garth Nix’s books. I’ve read the whole Sabriel, Lirael and Abhorsen trilogy [waited years for Abhorsen haha] and I’ve read the Keys of the Kingdom series in the past up to Sir Thursday because.. that was all that was published =( Oooh thanks for the reminder though. Turns out Lady Friday’s out too. =D
Okay, I’m in for 100 films. I feel like I didn’t watch any movies last year.
