Let the light pierce through the darkness Close all old accounts, turn a new leaf Re-learn that old lesson of friendship Kill nor be killed, settle for lessening Amidst us of this fossilized hatred
Transient Dreams
glimpses of life… silence and chaos; laughter and tears…
Perhaps that time has not come yet when our, Gods would listen to the beats in our hearts, peace and happiness spread their glow, perhaps we would have to force Mother Time?.
How to Clean and Debone Fish
No, I’m not actually going to tell you How to Clean and Debone Fish. It’s just that I had a really interesting conversation with my uncle and our “housekeeper” about deboning Bangus (Milkfish). My mom and I made Daing na Bangus the other day and had them for lunch today. I love milkfish but it’s so much bonier than other fish that I rarely eat it unless it’s boneless. I once swore off fish for a year because I got a fish bone stuck in my throat for two months!
I haven’t been feeling well for the past three days. I’m having chest pains, taking deep breaths hurt and I’ve been experiencing palpitations throughout the day but as my mom said, it’s probably because I still have iron-deficiency anemia — I know it’s very common among women; I was diagnosed with it in high school and was told to take iron supplements everyday. I keep forgetting to take them but at least I don’t drink caffeinated beverages anymore nor smoke cigarettes (never have, never will) which would aggravate it. I’ve been getting enough sleep and shouldn’t be feeling so tired… I’m also getting tingly sensations in my legs which don’t really hurt except it feels hot and not in a good way — it’s like a crawling sensation. I will get up the courage to have my blood tested again, just to be sure it’s nothing more serious.
I have my LOA form!
I just need the Counseling and Career Services Center to sign it and it’ll be official. I’m going to submit it tomorrow. I planned to submit it yesterday then today but something came up and I wasn’t able to go to the school.
I have until the 20th of May to submit it but I want to get it over with as soon as possible.
Okay, just had another palpitation… I’m gonna go lie down for a bit.

Wow, a fish bone has been stuck in your throat for such a long time? Must’ve been annoying and painful. How did you manage to get rid of it?
I know it’s not exactly the same as you have but I’ve been hyperventilating for years now and it’s really annoying. Don’t forget to take your pills
I always forget to take my zinc pills. lol. Perhaps it’s handy if you make sure you take your pills at the same time every day? Then you will hopefully not forget to take them?
Ugh, I remember being anemic. It was not fun, and I had some of those symptoms too, for awhile. The crawling sensations were SO weird, and kind of scary, especially when you get them when you’re half asleep and you’re like “Ahhh! Something’s touching me!”
OMG, you had a fish bone stuck in your throath for TWO MONTHS?! I’d never ever eat fish again if that happened to me!
I also used to take iron supplements a couple of years ago but I stopped with it. I dunno why really.
I hope you get to feel better soon.
DANG! A fish bone stuck in your throat for 2 months?!! I don’t eat fish much at all, though… It’s ok… But I’m not totally a seafood person. LOL.
Oh woah, I hope you’re feeling better…
Good luck with submitting the LOA form!
Sorry I haven’t commented for ages (again)… a lot has been going on recently *sighs*
I really hope you feel better soon!! *hugs*
Even though you probably know what’s causing the chest pains and all, I would recommend to see a doctor / get yourself tested anyway. Just to be sure that it really is what you think it is, especially because you seem to have symptoms you haven’t had before?
Oh man, I do not eat fish at all. I will never EVER debone a fish. Ew.
I don’t like any type of seafood, though. LOL.
I do hope you start taking your iron supplements on schedule. I, too, have anemia. I was diagnosed after I had my son. It really makes you feel terrible.
Oh my goodness. I’ve never had a fish bone stuck for THAT long
I eat fish all the time and I’m always really careful. My mom always tells me and my brother to shut up during dinner time. Lol. But anyways, you should get your chest checked by a doctor
I used to wonder if I suffered from Anemia. I got blood tests during my pregnancy and nothing turned up though.
I hope you feel better soon.
