My best birthday memory

My 21st birthday isn’t until Tuesday (May 6th) but I already know it’s going to be the best birthday ever! 1. Because Jim is a part of my life now — he makes me so happy. I really couldn’t ask for anything more… 2. Because he gave me the best birthday gift I’ve ever received!

— 2 dozen red roses
— a bottle of red wine
— a box of Ferrero Rocher chocolates
— a heart-shaped chocolate cake
— a hot pink male teddy bear named Bernie
— and the sweetest birthday card…

I have the most wonderful boyfriend in the world!

I don’t have a lot of good birthday memories because mine is right in the middle of summer here so not many people are around. Most of them are traveling with their families — making the most of the break. It’s usually just me, my family and my closest friends. This year, since my birthday falls on a weekday, we’re just going to have dinner at home on Tuesday. Then my friends will be coming over on the 10th to have pizza — so we can catch up on each other’s lives too.¹

Oh, I forgot to blog about this:
I am now officially on LOA! I submitted my form over a week ago. I sent a tweet to my Twitter account right after I handed in my form to the Assistant Registrar.

Thank you for the comments you left on my last entry. I caught a cold a few days ago and I’ve been having coughing fits but today I woke up feeling much better. I have a lot of catching up to do! I will return comments as soon as I can! Have a great weekend everyone!

I’m glad you had such a great birthday. Those are some lovely gifts. I used to get spoiled like that with the last boyfriend. I don’t know what I will get from the current guy. I’m sure it will be nice, but not as nice as what you got! Enjoy your party. My birthday is in the middle of the week too so my party will be the following weekend at my house. I hope it goes well!
