I promised not to let my fears have me doubting. I’m doing my best to shrug them off because right now, things couldn’t get much better than they already are. But sometimes…

It’s been raining really hard since last night. Hmmn… I’ve always loved the rain — especially when we were still living in Laguna (but only when I’m inside the house). It’s beautiful. Sammy (my mom’s Pom-Spitz) hates the rain though. I don’t think he got much sleep last night.

I used to love taking walks right after it rained but here in Pasig, it’s not such a good idea.

I’m chatting on Y!M with my Aunt Joy (my mom’s only sister) right now. haha, she’s showing me the bridesmaid dresses she’s sewing for her brother-in-law’s wedding on her webcam. She’s trying to convince me to buy a webcam. She wants to be able to see me when we chat so she won’t miss me so much anymore.

I spent the afternoons of the past weekend with my dad and my sister in our music room/home theater. My dad has an incredible home audio playback system installed right now — from the Burmester Top Line. I can only imagine what the Reference Line sounds like!

When you listen to music, you can hear everything, no distortion whatsoever! I wholeheartedly agree with Burmester’s slogan, “Art for the Ear.” It’s only on demo so we can enjoy it for about 3 weeks BUT my dad wants to have them picked up now because he might get used to it and he’d never want to go back to his old setup. And the loudspeakers alone cost about $20,000 each (list price is about $25,000, I think)!

My cousin Benette is still sick and the doctors don’t know what’s wrong with her. She’s had a fever for 8 days now! One said it was a “systemic viral illness” and prescribed antibiotics. Another had her tested for Typhoid fever and a whole bunch of other illnesses. We’ll find out the results in a few days. And I just found out that one of my other cousins is sick too. My mom said, “that’s everyone close to you.” Oh yeah, as if I made them sick!

Oh, I almost forgot! It’s my parents’ wedding anniversary today. And they started the day off by fighting. *sigh… Oh, please take me away from here!

Okay, I have to go! I just found out from my aunt that I was supposed to see her today — you’d think my mom would tell me these things before she goes ahead and plans my day right?! I don’t really mind though because she doesn’t do it often and ONLY when she knows I’m not that busy. Anyway, I need to help my mom with a lot of stuff today. Plus, we’re going to have lunch with my favorite brother (hehe, the only one I have) and he’s been really grumpy so… Bye!!!
