Young and Happy

I seem to be having a lot of “interesting” conversations with kids these days.

I watched a movie with my sister Peewee and Chestnut earlier. There was a happy couple in one scene and Chestnut squealed (yes, squealed), “Just like you and Jim!” LOL.

…

After a while, Chestnut came up behind me, gently stroked my hair¹ and said:
Chestnut: You look different.
Me: What do you mean?
Chestnut: You look young…and happy.
My first thought was to say, “Why?! Did I look OLD before?!” Instead, I said:
Me: That’s because I am young and happy!
Chestnut: I’m young and happy too!

AND I’ve been blogging about Jim a LOT. It’s just that I miss him so much…and it helps to blog about him otherwise, I’d be moping around, thinking about him every single minute and not getting any work done!

What else..what else..?!

I watched the UAAP basketball games yesterday — with Ate Peewee² and my cousin Clarenz. La Salle won!!!

Oh, and I reformatted my hard drive! I thought I had everything backed up but I forgot to export my bookmarks. Even worse, I’ve forgotten quite a few of my passwords - I forgot to check my Firefox password bank before I deleted everything. argh. But I’m enjoying having my laptop in it’s out-of-box state (except it looks a bit battered on the outside - just a bit!)

Anyway, I’m going to work on the original themes for the main site and this blog as soon as I get Photoshop reinstalled.

That’s cute that the kid made that connection between you and the tv. I’m great that you look so young and happy.

I’m sure you are loving your new laptop. I should have one within the next month. I’m really looking forward to it, but it’s going to cost me so much!

Kids say the most interesting things, no? They’ve a long way to go in life, haha, innocente pa kasi ngayon eh pero in the later years they’ll go through a ‘transition’ of feelings — if you know what I mean. :D

Being young and happy is a wonderful way to be. Hope you continue to feel that way. I just formatted recently myself. There’s this thing that exports all your firefox passwords and saves them in an XML file. Maybe next time you format you could use that. Cause losing passwords sucks.

I almost always forget my password to sites, etc. I have about five different passwords I use for random things and always have to try all before I get the right one!

I was just talking about being young the other day…. Not being able to understand what your saying or doing… Lol… I loved it. I hate all that I’ve realized now.

I use to lose all my passwords… Then I started using the same thing for everyone… With the addition of 1 or 2 at the end lol.

I always feel a bit =S when people compliment you along the lines of “you look nicer today” or whatnot. I think, what, I normally look a lot worse? Haha, self-consciousness I guess.

I’ve done the same thing with formatting so many times! Always the bookmarks! Grrr. I hope you’ve found all your passwords alright though. It’s such a pain going through the process to retrieve it. Especially if you lied on the secret questions, as I often do =P

I always forget my passwords. Whenever I make up a new one, I’m like “Oh, I’ll for sure remember this one, it’s so easy to remember!” but when I actually need it…lol
