I found out about WordCamp Philippines 2008 through Anna. 
The people behind this exciting event are the Mindanao Bloggers (a non-stock, non-profit entity).

How I wish there’s some kind of workshop for WP codings and theme-making near where I am too T___T I barely scrap my with the stuff on my site and I couldn’t understand 70% of the functions there ORZ

still thinking if I’d want to join. I think I’ve read enough about Wordpress and blogging that my brain melts whenever I see new trends and stuff. However, this is too much of an opportunity to let pass. *hmn thinks*

I wanna go to Wordcamp PH but I’m hesitating coz I’m not so good in dealing with big crowds. It’s kinda scary for me.
though if I’m really gonna benefit with it, then I’m wiling to forget about my fear. haha

Wow the camp sounds really cool-I could learn about WP more, I used to use it but I just lost my interest in looking up tutorials and tips. It gets boring. But anyway, the topics sound really helpful too!

That sounds like a really good idea for a camp, especially since there are so many WordPress uers in the blogosphere nowadays.
Like you, I would love to delve deeper in the WordPress codex, if I actually had the time and resources.

Thats really neat. I’ve seen talk of this wordcamp but never looked into it. I didn’t know that is what it’s all about. Next time I hear of one near me I will have to look into it more.
