- Do you have any food rules? And would you eat turducken?
I don’t really have food rules but there are things that I would never eat.
Hmmn… Let’s see what I can list.
- No pickles on burgers.
- No onions on anything except maybe my sister’s tuna salad and macaroni salad (and any of my mom’s or grandmother’s recipes that require onions).
- I will eat any kind of food with a fork (or spoon) just so I won’t get anything on my fingers / hands — I wash my hands a gazillion times a day. LOL.
- Don’t pick food off my plate, unless you’re my husband or I gave you permission to.
- I save the best for last but I will always give up the last piece of food on my plate if my husband asks for it.1
That’s all I can think of at the moment.
As for Turducken, this is the first time I’ve ever heard of it. I don’t really like duck but it sounds interesting and I found some pictures that look delicious so I might try it once. If I don’t like it, I’ll probably never eat it again.
- He would do the same for me. ↩

A burger made for me is not complete without pickles and onions! :D You hate onions? Even… crispy fried ONION RINGS? Seriously?
I have heard of Turducken many, many years ago… Seems a bit fussy to make. I’ll eat duck, but I’m not fond of it because I find the skin too fatty and gamey-tasting. I’m fond of properly made Peking duck (crispy skin and not too much Chinese five-spice powder… that anise licorice taste).

Oh wow, I can’t believe I forgot about onion rings! I’ll eat crispy onion rings because they don’t really taste like onions (at least for me, LOL) – I’ve always considered them more like french fries :D
Oh yes, duck skin is fatty. I think duck tastes weird in general.
