James (aka Jim)
— The best boyfriend in the whole wide world. ♥
Jim is everything I’ve ever wanted in a man. He is kind, sweet, funny, smart, responsible and dedicated; a real man of integrity. He’s the most perceptive person I’ve ever met and he really understands me. And as if God didn’t think that was enough, he also happens to be incredibly handsome! I feel so blessed to have him in my life! I must have done something really good to deserve him. I will do my best to make him happy…so happy that he’ll know every bad thing he’s ever had to face was worth it because they led us to each other. I can’t wait until we can finally be together for good!

FAMILY

Mama / Mommy
— Pretty obvious, I think. My mom. She has always been one of the most significant people in my life.

Papa
— My dad. We don’t always get along but I try my best to understand him. And we do have our moments – he can be really good company when he’s in a good mood.

Karl (aka Karly, Kuya Karl)
— My 30-year-old brother. He took up Philosophy and I think it has made him a really great man. He takes everything in stride. Positivity in, negativity out. He used to drive me to school and we had a lot of really insightful conversations – mostly about life, love and relationships.

Leslee (aka Ate Peewee)
— My 28-year-old sister. We used to fight a lot when we were younger but now that we’re older and a bit wiser, I think we’re discovering more and more things that we have in common.

Benette (aka Bennyppe)
— My favorite cousin. She’s four years older than me and four years younger than my sister. We’re practically sisters! Her dad is my favorite uncle. We like a lot of the same things but one of the things we’ve never shared is our taste in guys. LOL. Well, except for Jensen Ackles (Dean Winchester in Supernatural).

Francesca (aka Chestnut)
— She’s Bennyppe’s sister and is eighteen years younger. She calls me “Twinnie” (she likes to pretend we’re twins).

Jaizanne (aka Tsha)
— My cousin/goddaughter. She is my Aunt Joy’s youngest daughter and I used to babysit her when she was still a baby. She usually spends her vacations with my family.

Jaize Darren (aka Darren)
— My godson. She is my cousin Jason’s eldest child. He is such a sweet little boy!

Mom
— My maternal grandmother. All I can say is that it’s great having a grandmother and I have one of the best.

Daddy
— My maternal grandfather. I miss him all the time. After my mom gave birth to me, he was the first person to visit me in the nursery and hold me. I’m hoping to visit him, my grandmother and my two youngest uncles sometime in the near future.

FRIENDS

Maristelle (aka M-Rize, Puffin – she calls me Muffin)
— My best friend from college. They say you never really know a person until you’ve lived with them…well, Puff was my roommate the whole time I lived away from home. We’ve survived endless psychological tests, grueling exams, research papers, all-nighters, field work, heartbreaks, family problems, financial problems – pretty much everything you go through in college. She has been there for me through the most difficult moments of my life. And most of all, she has never judged me for the mistakes I made in the past. She gives me endless courage and strength. I know that we’ll always be friends.

Abbe Lane (aka Beh, Abbe)
— My best friend from high school; we met during sophomore year. We couldn’t be more different from each other. She used to hang out at our house ALL the time. It seems like we’ve been drifting apart more and more each day. I don’t know if our friendship will survive…

Jazel (aka Jazzy Bear, Je)
— My best friend from elementary. She’s always there for me – even when she’s thousands of miles away.

Niño (aka Niñ, Ninyo)
— My best guy friend. I’ve known him since high school. He knows everything good and bad about me but he stuck by me through everything. My greatest wish for him is to find a wonderful girl who’d appreciate and love him for everything he is and will be.

Sarah (aka Saara, Sareys)
— My best online friend. We’ve known each other since 2003 – I don’t remember the exact details of how we met though. All I can say is that I’m really happy we found each other. She was there for me when no one else was and I will never forget that. She’s one of the people who make going online worthwhile. Trivia: We share the same birthday month. I am just three days older than her!

Jennifer (aka Jenny, Jen)
— My fellow BS Psychology graduate. She was one of my closest friends in college even though we got into each other’s nerves a lot. She and I, along with M-Rize, spent a lot of time talking about life. We kept each other sane.

Cymbell (aka Yeyers)
— One of my MMA buddies. She was also my dormmate back when I was still studying Psychology. I met her through M-Rize.

PETS

Sammy (aka Samwise Gamgee, Sam, Samuel)
— My mom’s dog. He’s a Pomeranian / Japanese Spitz mix. We all love him very much – it’s no wonder he’s so spoiled!
