Every summer, one of my friends keeps saying that she’ll shave all of her hair off because it gets too hot. As crazy as she can be, the rest of us never thought she’d go through with it — we were right. She may act like “one of the guys” more often than not but I think she’s as vain as I am about her hair.1 Lucky for her, hair loss is something she’s never had to worry about. Her whole family is blessed with thick hair but for some people, it’s a real problem.
I think the best thing to do is to leave your hair alone. Take it from Baz Luhrmann:
Don’t mess too much with your hair or by the time you’re 40, it will look 85.
