[College] The term is officially over and I made the Dean’s List again! ^_^ And we got a 3.5 on our thesis (one of the highest in our class)! Yay! :bouncy:

[Books] Yesterday, I realized that I accidentally left 3 of the books that I bought at the book fair.. :( They only cost me PHP 99.00 but one of the books was The Magician’s Nephew (Book 6 of The Chronicles of Narnia by C. S. Lewis, 1st in the internal chronology) :moody: – I was going to give it to my goddaughter for her birthday (which is today). I got her The Voyage of the Dawn Treader (Book 3, 5th chronologically) instead – I bought it from Powerbooks-Shangri-La. I think one of the other books was Soul of the Fire (Sword of Truth, Book 5) by Terry Goodkind. I have the hardcover edition so it doesn’t really matter but I was hoping to resell it. I can’t remember the third book but I’m pretty sure it was a fantasy, maybe a Raymond E. Feist novel.

Do any of you remember the Love Stories series from Bantam Books? You’ve probably read one or two before. ;) My sister used to collect them and I eventually started reading them. Well, we’ve lost most of our collection to friends who never remembered to return them. I found a listing on eBay for Books 1-42 for only PHP 1,500.00 and my sister and I have decided to buy it. :) We can always just resell it. hehe. Some of you might be shocked because we’re not the type to give away or sell our books but we usually only sell those that we have multiple copies of. In my case, I’ve also started selling the books that didn’t impress me much or those that I couldn’t be bothered to read. I need the shelf space. The bookcase in my room which houses my favorite books is about to burst. I really should get a new one.

[Life + Friends] I still don’t know what I’m going to do. I want to start working because I need to save up but I don’t think I’m ready. And I’m not sure I want to stay in the field of Psychology. :worried: I’ll probably take some modular courses (web design) or take up Multimedia Arts. Anyway, I have a meeting with a client sometime this coming week. Let’s see how that goes..and start from there.

My batchmates and I went to..I’m not really sure if it was to celebrate but..anyway, we (Irene, Louie, Jenny, Ishbelle, John, Kim, Kimy, Mark, Nikki, Joseph, Garie, and I) went to Prov – videoke session! – John and I sang a few songs, including ♪ Suteki da neLOL!

I went home with Jenny, Ishbelle, Mark, John, and Joseph but the LRT was at code yellow (I think) and stopped operations so we had to take a jeep to the Edsa-MRT station (John got off the jeep before us because he didn’t have to take the MRT). Beh picked me up at Shang. It was really sweet of her. She and Niñ have been worrying about me a lot lately. Thanks for looking out for me, you two!

Hmmn… Some of my friends are planning a trip to Pagudpud. I sort of want to go with them. I hope my mom will let me..if I decide to go.

[Love] :music: Never Be The Same by Christopher Cross

It was good for me
It was good for you
Now nothing either of us can say or do
Can change the way you feel tonight
Sometimes love just slips out of sight

Just one thing before you go
Just one thing that you’ve got to know
No one will ever touch me that way
The way that you did that very first day

And I’ll
Never be the same without you here
I’ll live alone
Hide myself behind my tears
And I’ll
Never be the same without your love
I’ll live alone
Try so hard to rise above

The years go by
There’s always someone new
To try and help me forget about you
Time and again it does me no good
Love never feels the way that it should

I loved you then I guess I’ll love you forever
And even though I know we could never stay together
I think about how it could have been
If we could just start all over again

It was good for me
It was good for you
Now nothing either of us can say or do
Can change the way you feel today
Sometimes love just slips away

*sigh…

[Shoutouts] Chau, I’m sorry I haven’t been able to blog about what’s been going on..I’ll post about it when I organize my thoughts. ;) Ninyo, hehe…yep, music definitely helps. Rachel, lol. I always associate Alan Rickman with Snape now, too! hehe. Must be because of Spellbinding. *sigh… I still miss running that TCG sometimes. Sarah, thank you! And yes, I’m terrified about graduating. LOL. The book fair was fun! I wish you could’ve been there, too… :( I looked at your reading list before and I have some of them on my list, too. I love reading! I spent a lot of time in college wishing I had more time to read and now that I do..waaaaah, I don’t know where to start! I have so many books that I’ve yet to read. Oh Sarah..once again, you do NOT look awful in those pictures! You’re beautiful, hun! I wish you could see what we see… *huggles* And yes, we will meet someday! And even if we don’t get to meet on our birthdays, we can still celebrate. ;) Boris, aww..the book fair was great (although I liked the NBS warehouse sale better – the books were much, much cheaper). Oh, the book I was referring to is not related to the anime. The Alchemist was written by Paulo Coelho – his other books are Veronika Decides to Die, By the River Piedra I Sat Down and Wept, Eleven Minutes, etc. BTW, you can create an account on eBay Philippines to buy and/or sell all sorts of items. You can register HERE. You don’t need a credit card but I think you need to be at least 18. ^_^ Just email me or comment here if you need any help.
